FDU NAMING VETRONE HEAD COACH

It won’t be Tom Barrise after all. Sources have told me that Greg Vetrone will remain as Head Coach of Fairleigh Dickinson.

Vin Parise is a basketball analyst for WFAN Radio, MSG High School Basketball and Cox Communications.
In 2008, Vin began his media career after coaching eight seasons of college hoops at Fairleigh Dickinson, Rutgers and Iona. In addition to VPHOOPS.COM, he is also the college basketball blogger for WFAN.com.
This season, Vin will serve as a color analyst for Cablevision's brand new channel, MSG Varsity. He will also host the TV pregame show for Providence and URI basketball on Cox Communications in Rhode Island.
Vin will also be making regular appearances on WFAN Radio and will serve as an analyst for Iona College Men's Basketball on ICGaels.com.

FANTASTIC job by FDU here. Greg is going to a great job at FDU and will have them in the mix for the NEC championship in a couple of seasons.
Now that there is no cloud over his head he can get to work getting some players to play his style and get FDU pointed in the right direction again. Greg is one of the most connected guys in the business and is an outstanding recruiter.
what he accomplished in the league this year was amazing, especially considering he only had 7 real players this year and dealt with injuries the entire season to some of his better players.
